DISCHARGE SPLINT
Depending on the case, they will be worn all day or only at night, for a variable period of time, usually a few months.
Splints are devices generally made of transparent acrylic resin, which are placed on the upper or lower arch. When the teeth come into contact with it, the jaw moves into a position in which the muscles relax, thus relieving the painful and/or inflammatory symptoms present in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
